Create beautiful antique-style crackle effects with Pentart Classic Crackle Varnish. This water-based, two-component system is designed to produce a transparent network of cracks that adds aged character and vintage texture to decoupage, mixed media, furniture accents, and decorative craft projects.

Apply Component 1 in an even layer and allow it to dry completely. Then apply Component 2. The size and depth of the cracks will vary depending on the thickness of application and your technique.

Once dry, the finish is transparent and water-resistant. For added definition, highlight the crackled effect with antique paste or liquid patina.
